At least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada
Work experience gained while authorized to work in Canada

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

For skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade

At least 2 years of full-time work experience in skilled trade
