Express Entry is Canada's application management system for three federal economic immigration programs. It uses a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates and invite the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residence.

Key Requirements:
- At least 1 year of continuous full-time work experience
- Work experience in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
- Language proficiency in English and/or French
- Canadian secondary or post-secondary credential, or foreign equivalent

- At least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada
- Work experience gained while authorized to work in Canada
- Language proficiency requirements based on NOC category
- Plan to live outside Quebec
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of full-time work experience in skilled trade
- Meet job requirements for skilled trade as set by National Occupational Classification
- Valid job offer or certificate of qualification in skilled trade
