For skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently
Min. Score: 67/100 points

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of continuous full-time work experience
  • Work experience in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
  • Language proficiency in English and/or French
  • Canadian secondary or post-secondary credential, or foreign equivalent
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
For skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents
Min. Score: No minimum

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada
  • Work experience gained while authorized to work in Canada
  • Language proficiency requirements based on NOC category
  • Plan to live outside Quebec
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
For skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade
Min. Score: No minimum

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of full-time work experience in skilled trade
  • Meet job requirements for skilled trade as set by National Occupational Classification
  • Valid job offer or certificate of qualification in skilled trade
